# mtnAPI Overview

The mtnAPI, developed by the mtnPay team, is a suite of API endpoints providing various pre-built transactions. The mtnAPI leverages [Solana Pay](https://github.com/solana-labs/solana-pay/blob/master/SPEC.md), a standard protocol to serialize Solana transaction requests via QR codes.

Solana Pay provides fast payment or verification for goods and services.
